What amenities does the property offer?DUO offers a variety of amenities designed to enhance your lifestyle. Enjoy multiple roof decks with panoramic views of the airport, Boston skyline, and Tobin Bridge. Stay active with the state-of-the-art fitness center, featuring a cardio room equipped with Peloton bikes, rowing machines, and treadmills, a weight room, private workout rooms, and an outdoor yoga deck. Relax and socialize in our sky lounges or unwind in the Urban Unwind TV lounge and game room. Get work done in our Fusion Room Workspace and Cafe. Keep your little ones busy with the Upsy Daisy playground. Enjoy outdoor gatherings with grills and al fresco dining in our courtyard. We also offer secure bike storage for our residents.

Is parking available?Yes, DUO offers secure garage parking for a fee, with EV charging stations for residents with electric vehicles.

Where are the washer and dryer/hookups?Not to worry! Each apartment is fitted with an in-home washer and dryer.

What are the pet fees?

Are there weight or breed restrictions on pets?We do have pet breed restrictions. Please refer to Amenities page for a list of details.

What appliances are standard?Each apartment comes with a stainless steel appliance package including a washer and dryer, dishwasher, electric range, and refrigerator with a bottom-mounted freezer.

Do you offer furnished apartments?Yes, we partner with a furnishing company to offer fully furnished apartments for an additional cost. Please contact our leasing office for availability and pricing.

If I have a package delivered, will you hold it at the leasing office?Yes, we have dedicated secure mail and package rooms in both buildings where all deliveries are held for residents to pick up at their convenience.

What are the hours of the fitness center?The fitness center is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for the convenience of our residents.

What type of exercise equipment is available in the gym?Our fitness center features a wide range of cardio equipment including Peloton bikes, rowing machines, and treadmills, as well as a weight room with free weights and strength training machines. We also have private workout rooms and an outdoor yoga deck.

Are there building quiet hours or fees for using communal spaces?We ask residents to respect quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM. There are no additional fees for using any of our amenity spaces.
Application Process

How does the application process work?The system will create an online account for you, so once you become a resident, you will already have access to online payments and maintenance service requests. If you prefer a hard copy application, that is fine too! Please contact the Leasing Office to obtain a PDF of the application and Rental Criteria form or visit us in person. We will need a signed Rental Criteria form, completed application, copy of your photo ID, and proof of income.

What if I do not have passing credit?There is a determination that is made if your score is just between decline and approval standards. This is called approved with conditions. If this is the case, you will be notified of next steps by the Leasing Office. If your score is below this mark, your application is declined.

Extra Fees

What are the extra fees associated with the apartment home?All of the amenities and services are included in your rent. Parking and pets, if applicable, are an extra monthly charge.

Is there public transportation within close proximity of the buildings?Yes, DUO is conveniently located just steps away from the MBTA Silver Line, offering easy access to various destinations in Boston. Several bus routes also serve the area.

What is your community nearby?DUO is located in the heart of Chelsea, a vibrant and diverse community that offers a mix of urban energy and local charm.

How far away is the nearest dog park?Bellingham Hill Park is a short walk away, just 0.2 miles from DUO. We also have a dedicated dog run on-site for the convenience of our residents.

Are there bike trails nearby?The Chelsea Greenway offers a scenic path for biking and is conveniently located near DUO. Boston is also a bike-friendly city with numerous bike paths and lanes. We also provide secure bike storage for our residents.

Where do residents shop?DUO is conveniently located near a variety of shopping options. You'll find Mystic Mall and Parkway Plaza Shopping Center just a short distance away, offering a variety of retail stores and services. For home improvement needs, The Home Depot is also nearby.

What's the name of the nearest coffee shop and how far is it from the property?Kushala Sip Coffee House + Tapas Bar is just 0.5 miles away, offering a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee or a delicious meal. We also have a coffee lounge on-site, offering complimentary coffee for residents 24/7.

Can you tell me about the location?DUO is located in the dynamic city of Chelsea, just minutes from downtown Boston, Logan Airport, and the Seaport. We offer a perfect balance of urban living with easy access to public transportation, local amenities, and recreational areas.
Maintenance

Do you have on-site maintenance?Yes, we have a dedicated on-site maintenance team available Monday through Friday for regular issues and a 24/7 maintenance line for emergencies.

An item in my apartment needs repair. How do I get help?You can submit a maintenance request through our resident portal or contact our leasing office directly. We aim to address all requests within 48 hours and we will keep you informed if this will take longer than that.

How are maintenance issues handled?Maintenance requests are prioritized based on urgency. We aim to address all requests within 48 hours.

Do I have to be present for a service technician to perform work?It's up to you. You can choose to be present or provide us with permission to enter your apartment in your absence. We will follow up, informing you that we were there and the work that was done.

What happens if I am locked out?If you're locked out during office hours, stop by the leasing office. After hours, call our emergency maintenance line.

Am I allowed to decorate the apartment without penalty?Yes, we encourage you to make your apartment your own. Mounting items on the wall is allowed. However, we ask that you avoid making any permanent alterations or damage.
Move-in Cost

What is the move in cost?After approval, we ask for all move-in costs to be paid within 72 hours in certified funds (bank check or money order). This cost will include your prorated first month's rent (you can move in any day of the month!), a key and lock fee, and prorated extra fees (parking and/or pet) if applicable. We no longer require a holding deposit at the time of application.

Are there weight or breed restrictions on pets?Yes, there are breed restrictions. Restricted breeds include: Akita, Alaskan Malamute, Bull Mastiff, Chow, Doberman Pinscher, German Shepherd, Great Dane, Belgian Shepherd Malinois/Malamute, Caucasian Shepherd, Husky, Pit Bull Terrier, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Rottweiler, St. Bernard, Staffordshire Bull Terrier (American Staffordshire Terrier), Wolf Hybrid. There is a pet addendum included in our lease agreement that must be understood and signed.
Qualifying Standards

What are the qualifying standards for application approval?We perform a credit check through a rental risk assessment system, criminal background check as well as a sex offender check. All must meet our passing standards for approval.
Rent Payment

How can I pay rent every month?Rent is due on the 1st of the month, every month. We offer recurring online payments that you can set up on the online portal by bank account or credit card as well as one-time payments so you can have the freedom to pay however you would like month to month. You can also pay by personal check, bank check, or money order in person by dropping it off at the Leasing Center.
